BASL to discuss proposed new constitution

Special attention will be paid to the proposed constitution at the monthly meeting of the Sri Lanka Bar Association (BASL) which is scheduled to be held today(18).

The Association had handed a list of proposals to the President regarding the proposed constitution, said its secretary Attorney at Law Amal Randeniya.

However, the Association had not yet received any feedback from the government over the proposals provided, he added.
