Sajith vows to expose reason behind passport queues

Sajith Premadasa, the presidential candidate of the ‘Samagi Jana Balavegaya’, says that the current people of this country will not be deceived by ‘political deals’.

Speaking at a rally in Kandy, he alleged that the candidates running for the presidential election are engaging in various conspiracies to mislead the people.

He predicted that his party would secure victory in the first round of vote counting and not requiring to go for a second count.

“There is no use of second preference. The Samagi Jana Balawegaya will definitely win in the first round itself,” said Premadasa.

He further stated that the people of this country would not be fooled by the infamous deals of the ‘political dealmakers’ in this Presidential Election.

Premadasa also criticized President Ranil Wickremesinghe, questioning whether the President is unable to resolve the passport issue in the country instead of “making secret deals” with the Presidential Candidate of the National People’s Power (NPP), Anura Kumara Dissanayaka.

He vowed that, if elected as the President of the country on September 21, he would expose to the public the “great theft” which has caused the queues for passports.
