Dedicated phone numbers issued for tourists affected by adverse weather

The Sri Lanka Police has issued dedicated phone numbers to assist foreign nationals who are currently in Sri Lanka and affected by the on-going adverse weather conditions.

 

Sri Lanka Police noted that due to the unexpected severe weather conditions impacting various parts of the island, certain foreign tourists may be facing difficulties or disruptions to their travel plans.

 

Should any foreign national or group encounter distress, require assistance or face challenges in reaching the airport as a result of the prevailing disaster situation, Sri Lanka Police said it stands ready to provide immediate support, protection and necessary guidance.
