The Ceylon Teachers Service Union (CTSU) today criticized the department of examinations for failing to release results of the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination before the school holidays.
The issue which has risen regarding Z-score marks, which has caused the delay, is not a sudden one, according to the union which points out that the examinations department should have planned it while conducting exams under the old syllabus and new syllabus.
The CTSU further accused that it was the ‘inefficiency’ of the department of examinations which was the cause behind G.C.E. A/L results not being released.
