Three suspects arrested over double murder in Kalutara
Three suspects have been arrested for allegedly aiding and abetting the recent fatal shooting of a man and a woman in front of a restaurant in Nagoda, Kalutara.
The Police Media Division stated that the three suspects were arrested last night (15) by the Kalutara District Crimes Division in connection with the double murder that occurred on October 9.
According to police, the suspects, aged 24, 26, and 36, are residents of Kalutara South and Agalawatta.
Police have also taken into custody a motorcycle, two mobile phones, one gram of crystal methamphetamine (Ice), and a three-wheeler suspected to have been stolen, all of which were found in the suspects’ possession.
Kalutara South Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
