Sri Lanka Police announced that the online data system used for Police Clearance applications has now been restored, and that applicants can resume submitting their Police Clearance applications through the online platform.

Due to a technical malfunction in the online data system used for Police Clearance applications, applicants were temporarily unable to obtain their Police Clearance reports.

Issuing a statement, the Police Media Division said that applicants can resume submitting their Police Clearance applications through the online platform with effect from October 16, 2026, as the system has now been restored.

Applicants are requested to visit the official Sri Lanka Police website, www.police.lk, to submit their applications online.
