Donald Trump says Republicans would have won in 'landslide' if he was running

US President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Republicans would have won the midterm elections “in a landslide” if he had been on the ballot.

“I wasn’t on the Ballot and if I was, we would have won IN A LANDSLIDE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Trump said on his Truth Social platform.

His remarks came as several US media outlets projected that Democrats will win control of the House.

Democrats have also flipped Senate seats in North and South Carolina, where former Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper beat Trump-endorsed former Republican National Committee chair Michael Whatley.
