Suspect arrested over 10-year-old boy’s murder

A suspect has been arrested over the gruesome murder of a 10-year-old boy at Kapurugoda-Panagoda, Athurugiriya.

 

Police said that a 50-year-old man was arrested in Biyagama in connection with the murder.

 

The boy had been hacked to death on Friday (25) while it was reported that his limbs had been dismembered and throat slit using a sharp object.
 
The crime has occurred at approximately 11.10am yesterday morning when the victim was alone at home.
