Traffic congestion around Fort railway station

Traffic congestion reported around the Fort railway station and along the Olcott Mawatha due to a protest march by university students, the police said.
The protest has been staged demanding the immediate release of the Convenor of the Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF), Lahiru Weerasekara, who was remanded for violating a court order.
Lahiru Weerasekara was remanded until July 15 after being produced before the Fort Magistrate earlier.
