Western Provincial Council minister Gamini Thilakasiri has been appointed as the organizer of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) for the Homagama electorate.
President Maithripala Sirisena handed over his letter of appointment a short while ago on Monday afternoon.
This came after UPFA MP Bandula Gunawardena resigned as the organizer of the SLFP for the Homagama electorate yesterday.
