Two persons, including former convener of the Inter-University Students Federation (IUSF) Wasanatha Mudalige, have been arrested in connection with an incident which occurred in 2020.
Accordingly, the duo was arrested today (27 July), based on a warrant issued over the inconvenience caused during a protest staged in front of the University Grants Commission (UGC) in 2020.
