Cotta Road railway crossing renovation postponed due to bad weather

The Railway Department says that essential renovation work scheduled to be carried out at the Cotta Road railway crossing has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions. 

 

This railway crossing, located between the Baseline and Narahenpita railway stations on the Kelani Valley Line, was originally planned to undergo urgent maintenance from 9.30 a.m. tomorrow (23) to 7.30 a.m. on May 24.   

 

However, the Railway Department stated that the dates for the rescheduled maintenance work will be announced in due course.
