The deadline to submit applications for the re-correction of the 2025 (2026) G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination results will end today (08), the Department of Examinations said.

The application process, which commenced on June 25, is open to both school and private candidates, who are required to submit their applications individually through the Department's online portal.

The Department said applications submitted through any other means will not be accepted.

Candidates can apply by visiting the Department's official website, www.doenets.lk, and accessing the Exam Information Centre under the Our Services section.

Applicants with existing user accounts should log in using their examination index number and National Identity Card (NIC) number, while new users are required to register using their NIC number and mobile phone number.

The Department has advised candidates to read the technical and general instructions and watch the instructional video before completing the application to ensure accurate submission.

The re-scrutiny fee has been fixed at Rs. 200 per subject and may be paid using a credit card, debit card or through a post office.

Following payment, candidates are required to download and retain a PDF copy of the application. An SMS notification will also be issued upon successful submission.

Only one online application will be accepted from each candidate, while fees paid for re-scrutiny will not be refunded.

Further information can be obtained by contacting the Department's 1911 hotline or its official telephone numbers, including 011 278 5231.
