Two children rescued after jet ski accident at Gregory Lake

Two children have been rescued by the Sri Lanka Navy personnel after a jet ski overturned at Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya.
Personnel from the Navy’s Rapid Response Rescue and Relief Unit, who were deployed for lifesaving duties at Gregory Lake yesterday (16), had witnessed the incident and immediately sprang into action.
The rescued children, aged 11 and 13, are residents of the Minuwangoda area, according to the Navy.
Following the rescue, the children were handed over to the Nuwara Eliya Police.
