The Nepal Tourism Board says 289 foreign nationals have been rescued since the floods hit earlier in the week.
Another 591 are out of communication as of 18:00 local time (13:15 BST), the board adds.
"Search, rescue, evacuation and assistance operations are continuing for those who remain stranded, injured or otherwise affected," it says in its latest statement.
