A shooting has been reported in front of a house in Naimulla, Payagala a short while ago, police said.
A man who sustained serious injuries in the shooting has been admitted to the Nagoda Hospital for treatment.
Police said investigations are underway into the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the identity of those responsible.
