Former Mayor of Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Dhanasiri Amaratunga has arrived at the Central Crime Investigation Bureau (CCIB) to provide a statement.
The statement is being recorded in connection with an ongoing investigation into Shiran Basik, an alleged large-scale drug trafficker who is currently in the custody of the bureau.
