Large tree falls near Kandy Railway Station, two vehicles damaged
A large tree near the Kandy Railway Station fell onto the road unexpectedly today (21), causing damage to two vehicles that were travelling along the road at the time of the incident.
Two individuals travelling in the vehicles reportedly sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident.
One of the vehicles damaged by the fallen tree is reportedly owned by a medical doctor.
The incident also disrupted traffic movement in the area, as the fallen tree obstructed the roadway.
Kandy Police have commenced further investigations into the incident.
