The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has recorded a near-four-hour statement from the former Secretary to the Treasury and former Secretary to the President Dr. P.B. Jayasundara at his residence in Nikaweratiya in connection with allegations surrounding the Airbus deal.

 

According to the Bribery Commission, officials visited Jayasundara’s residence to record his statement as part of investigations into the allegations relating to the deal.

 

The statement was recorded for nearly four hours, the Commission said.
