
Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa and former Executive Director of Krrish Group and business personality, Janaki Siriwardena, who are in remand custody over the controversial ‘Krrish’ deal, have been further remanded until October 16 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court.
The order was issued by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama after considering submissions made by officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) and attorneys representing the suspects, Ada Derana reporter said.
The order further stated that the decision on the suspects’ bail applications will be announced on the same day.
