Gotabaya arrives at CoI to give statement

Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa on Monday (24) arrived at the BMICH to give a statement before the Special Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Large Scale Corruption and Fraud.


The Commission says that it summoned the former Defence Secretary to question him on the alleged misuse of properties of the Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Ltd.  


Police earlier discovered an armory belonging to private security firm Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Limited which was discovered within the premises of the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).
