Presently there is a high demand for opposition MPs and it is apparent that they the only ones speaking on behalf of the people, UNP MP Dayasiri Jayasekara said today. He added that Mohan Lal Grero throwing his support behind the government will not in any way affect the UNP.
This is what happens when businessmen come into politics, Dayasiri added. Though Grero claims that he supported the government budget wanting to help the education system of the country if he can see the sad state of students presently he would have not made such a decision, Dayasiri claimed.
Jayasekara stated that this move was shameful adding that Grero made this move only thinking about his and his family’s future.
