A person riding a motorcycle has been shot dead by two unidentified gunmen on another motorcycle in the Wele Kade Junction area in Madampella, Kochchikade.
The Police Spokesman’s Office said that a 41-year-old man was killed in the shooting which occurred ata round 8.15am this morning.
The victim’s body has been placed at the Negombo Base Hospital while Kochchikade Police is conducting further investigations.
