SF Lokka arrested for vehicle theft

Iron Ranasinghe alias SF Lokka was arrested over his alleged involvement in a vehicle theft, the Anuradhapura police confirmed a short while ago.
Iron Ranasinghe is also the main accused in the murder of nightclub owner Wasantha de Zoysa in 2015.
Police launched a fresh investigation against SF Lokka after receiving a complaint accusing him of involving in the vehicle theft few days ago, an official said. The police have also recovered a hand grenade from the possession of the suspect.
SF Lokka had reportedly joined the Army on March 2, 2007 and had deserted his post at the Special Forces Regiment on June 15, 2015.
The suspect will be produced before the Anuradhapura Magistrate’s Court today.
