Kuwait’s international airport was damaged by Iranian drones early Wednesday, according to the country’s civil aviation authority.
Several facilities were damaged, and injuries were reported, Reuters reported, citing authorities.
Flights and air traffic in Kuwait have been suspended in the wake of the attack, the Kuwait News Agency reported.
The Terminal 1 building at the airport had only reopened on Monday, according to local media reports, after being damaged in a previous Iranian attack in late February.
