Sri Lanka has expressed deep concern over the recent attack on civilian infrastructure at Kuwait International Airport, which caused injuries to three Sri Lankan nationals, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism said.
In a statement, the Ministry emphasized that the safety, well-being and security of over one million Sri Lankan citizens living and working in the region remain a paramount priority for the Government of Sri Lanka.
The Ministry also called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint, reaffirming Sri Lanka’s commitment to supporting global efforts to uphold regional peace, security, and the protection of civilians.
