Sri Lanka Police have introduced a QR code-enabled digital system titled the “Sri Lanka Police Community Feedback Portal” to enable the public to submit feedback, complaints, compliments, and suggestions regarding services provided at police stations across the country.
The online platform is designed to improve the efficiency of police services through a more people-centred approach supported by data-driven analysis, police said.
Through the system, citizens can scan a QR code displayed at police stations and access an online portal to submit their responses. Users are required to select an option from comment, complaint, compliment, or suggestion, provide relevant personal details if necessary, state the reason for visiting the police station, and include any additional information before submitting.
The portal is also accessible via the official Sri Lanka Police website (police.lk) under the E-Services section, allowing the public to submit feedback electronically.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police has directed all senior officers and Officer-in-Charge (OICs) to install QR code boards titled “Sri Lanka Police Community Feedback Portal” at all police stations, including reception areas and prosecution units. They have also been instructed to promote the facility among the public and ensure its effective implementation.
Police said the initiative is aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability, and service delivery by systematically incorporating public feedback into performance improvement processes.
