The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) says it is further studying the possibility of removing the existing QR code fuel quota system, which was introduced to manage fuel supplies amidst global tensions.
CPC Chairman D.J. Rajakaruna revealed this while responding to an inquiry made by Ada Derana.
He further stated that fuel prices in the global market have not decreased at the same speed that they had increased.
He further noted that there is currently no obstacle for consumers in purchasing fuel.
