2026 Exam schedule to proceed as planned: Examinations Chief

All arrangements have been finalized to conduct the examinations scheduled for 2026 without any changes to the announced dates, the Commissioner General of Examinations, Indika Kumari Liyanage has stated.
Speaking at a press briefing held at the Department of Government Information this afternoon (24), she said the examination timetable for 2026 will be implemented as previously announced on September 14, 2025.
Commissioner General of Examinations Indika Kumari Liyanage further stated that the timetable was prepared after carefully considering the time required for students to engage in their academic studies and prepare for each examination.
