The circular pertaining to the admission of children to Grade 1 in government schools for the 2027 academic year has been issued by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education.
Accordingly, the Ministry stated that Circular No. 25/2026, which outlines the admission process, can be accessed through the Ministry of Education's official website (www.moe.gov.lk).
