An Ada Derana news team visited Shrestha at her home, where they found her surrounded by the many animals she lovingly cares for.
According to her family, the young porcupine first appeared near their home after being seriously injured in a dog attack. Seeing the animal in distress, Shrestha and her family immediately took it in and nursed it back to health.
