
Police have launched an investigation into the death of a man who was allegedly pushed from the upper floor of a hotel near Seeduwa town.
The deceased has been identified as a 49-year-old resident of Boyagane, according to police.
Police said the victim was an employee of the hotel and had been residing on its upper floor.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the incident may have occurred following an argument between the victim and another employee while the two were under the influence of alcohol. The victim was allegedly pushed from the upper floor during the altercation.
A 41-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Seeduwa Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
