Property worth Rs. 35 million linked to ‘Loku Patty’ seized
The Illegal Assets Investigation Division has taken steps to seize property worth approximately Rs. 35 million allegedly belonging to Sujeewa Ruwan Kumara de Silva, alias “Loku Patty,” who is currently in remand custody and is considered a major drug trafficker.
The seized assets include a 15-perch plot of land and a house constructed on the property. Police allege that the property was acquired using proceeds from drug trafficking.
According to police, the land and house are located in the Keppetiyagahalanda area of Matugama.
The investigation is being conducted under the supervision of the Director of the Illegal Assets Investigation Division.
