Ex-President Gotabaya Rajapaksa gives evidence in Lalith-Kugan abduction case
Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa gave evidence before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (29) in connection with proceedings before the Jaffna Magistrate’s Court over the alleged abduction of social activists Lalith Kumar Weeraraj and Kugan Muruganandan.
The recording of evidence for the day was concluded, with further proceedings adjourned until November 27.
The Colombo Magistrate’s Court also ordered former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to appear before the court on November 27 to provide further evidence in the case.
