75th anniversary of Signals Corps...

President Maithripala Sirisena attends the inauguration of the ‘Wave’ Symposium and the ICT exhibition organized by the Sri Lanka Army Signals Corps which commenced at the BMICH in Colombo, on Wednesday (28 November). The international symposium is being held to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the Signals Corps.

A number of local and international intellectuals, high ranking military officers and industry experts are attendinh the symposium and deliver lectures. 

The two-day ICT exhibition (28 & 29) with more than 160 stalls showcasing new technological inventions and innovations in the industry will be open to the public.

President Maithripala Sirisena was presented a special token of appreciation by Army Commander Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake.

Secretary of Defence Hemasiri Fernando and the heads of tri forces, Inspector General of Police and chiefs of security forces were present in this event.
