Several protests were staged near the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo on Wednesday (05) by separate groups and over various demands, which had resulted in severe traffic congestion along the Galle Road. The protests had been organised by the All Ceylon Projects Assistants Collective, HND students of Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education (SLIATE) and a group of employees of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).
