Exams chief assures no ‘paper leak’ reported in O/L examination

The Commissioner General of Examinations Mr. H.J.M.C. Amith Jayasundara says that although a few incidents of irregularities were reported during the ongoing 2023 G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination, no ‘question paper leak’ has taken place. 

Speaking to the media in this regard, the Exams chief pointed out that the confidentiality of a question paper is considered to be within the first half hour after the commencement of the examination. 

He further assured that there are no reports of any circulation of the question papers before the examination, as per the facts received by him thus far.
