PC House Limited announces new Board of Directors

PC House, the leading ICT provider who passionately engages in providing customers with quality solutions through innovative technology, recently announced its new board of directors, consequent to the recent re-launch under a new brand image, PCH.


“We are especially excited about the potential contributions of this new class of directors,” notes PC House Chairman S.H.M. Rishan. “During the nomination process we specifically sought industry experts from the Finance, Banking end user community, and those who have a proven track record. We have a quality team of IT experts and were looking for specialists in other areas to add value.”


PC House takes pleasure in announcing the appointment of the following as members of the PC 

House Board of Directors:

Mangala Boyagoda, one of Sri Lanka’s most senior bankers, who possesses decades of expertise in financial and risk management, who will contribute to consolidating the financial standing of the organization. He currently serves as the Chairman of Wealth Management (Pvt) Limited, a company specializing in treasury and risk management.


Sarath Wickremanayake, a renowned banker and a chartered accountant by profession brings years of experience in banking and marketing to strengthen the company’s finance aspects. He serves as the CEO of PCH’s Greenwich Lanka Private Limited and on several boards including that of the National Development Bank PLC and Aviva NDB Insurance PLC.


Bringing with him 25 years of experience as a Management Consultant and Corporate trainer, Modarage Thilakasiri will contribute specifically to the HR development platform. Currently serving as the head of the School of Postgraduate Studies at the Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration, Mr. Thilakasiri also serves as a senior visiting lecturer in business administration at the universities of Colombo, Moratuwa, Kelaniya and Sri Jayawardenapura. Mr. Thilakasiri’s input will be vital to the meshing of software, hardware and service enhancement training Pc House staff will receive as part of the new developments.


Shanti Kumar Nadarajah, currently one of the leading Brand and Marketing Strategy consultants has been the driving force behind the successful re branding of several of Sri Lanka’s premier organizations. He holds a postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK and an executive diploma in Business Administration from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

One of Sri Lanka’s most prominent lawyers and an attorney-at-law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka, Kuvera de Zoysa has served as chairman and director of People’s Merchant Bank PLC, Sanasa Development Bank and the Export Development bank. With the IT world constantly enhancing the scope of law, Mr. de Zoysa’s input on IPR enforcement as well as other legal matters will be of great importance to the growth of the organization.


Speaking on the company’s continuing journey toward its goal of becoming the ICT benchmark in Sri Lanka, Mr. Rishan said, “With work beginning in earnest to develop the internal practices and features of the organization, PC House believes that the contribution of the board of Directors will be instrumental in taking the company to greater heights. Having already reaped dividends from internal changes in the first quarter of the new financial year we believe this is just the beginning. With the cessation of hostilities and the current economic development taking Sri Lanka places, we believe the role of ICT provider is an important one and that our company is poised to fill this need. With developments in Business Process Outsourcing, Knowledge Process Outsourcing and Internet Data Centers, we are doing all we can to better the local standard of technology”.


Boiler Plate - PC House Ltd was incorporated as a limited liability company in 2000 after having commenced business in 1997. Its Board of Directors consists of Messrs S.H.M. Rishan, Sharmila Rishan, Mangala Boyagoda, Sarath Wikramanayake, Modarage Thilakasiri, Shanti Nadaraja and Kuvera de Soyza.
