In response to a statement made by the UNP recently regarding the money of Kumaran Pathmanadan alias KP, Susil Premajayantha in a media briefing today said that he is amazed that the opposition is questioning about the bank accounts of KP when they had criticized the government in contrast to supporting it regarding the matter.
SLFP General Secretary Susil Premajayantha, also expressed that investigations regarding KP are still being carried out and that information regarding his financial assets cannot be revealed to the public yet.
He also said that information regarding most of the missions carried out by KP and his many bank accounts and the wealth accumulated by him internationally have been unraveled. He said that such valuable information will be released to the public systematically.
Responding to a question raised by media the Minister questioned whether KP was captured by the opposition. He said that KP was captured with accurate planning and actions by security forces.
