I do not expect Opposition Leader post; should go to a senior - Mahinda

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa speaking to Ada Derana said that he does not expect the Opposition Leader post and will remain as a Member of Parliament. He added that the opposition leader post should be decided by the UPFA Parliamentary group and should go to a senior of the party.

 

Rajapaksa also added that if needed he could give leadership to issues relating to the national security.
