Covid-19: Sri Lanka confirms 32 new recoveries

The Ministry of Health says 32 individuals who were previously tested positive for Covid-19, have been discharged from medical care after making complete recoveries. 

 

According to the situation report, 01 each at Minuwangoda Base Hospital and Hambantota District General Hospital, 15 at Colombo East Base Hospital, 05 at Theldeniya Base Hospital, 06 at Homagama Base Hospital and 02 each at Laggala Pallegama Hospital and Dankotuwa District Hospital have returned to health.

 

The latest update brings the total number of novel coronavirus recoveries reported in the country to 4,075.

 

Sri Lanka’s confirmed cases court meanwhile stands at 8,870. However, 4,776 of them are currently under medical care.

 

Sri Lanka has witnessed 19 deaths from the virus so far.
