HC to decide on bail for suspect of largest fraud case in SL

The High Courts will take a decision tomorrow (February 10) on granting bail to the suspect who broke customs laws and regulations in Sri Lanka’s largest fraud case.

 

The decision was taken today by High Courts Judge W.M.P.B. Waralla after the government attorney was ordered to seek the advice of the Attorney General on the matter of bail.

 

The suspect who works as a manager at a private bank had allegedly sent a total sum of Rs.10,000 Lakhs out of the country in violation of customs laws.
