IPL 2026 Finals | Royal Challengers Bengaluru take on Gujarat Titans today

Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans will be aiming to clinch their second Indian Premier League (IPL) title when they face off at Ahmedabad on Sunday (May 31, 2026).

 

This IPL started on March 28, 2026. A total of 73 matches have been played between the 10 participating franchises and the final will be on Sunday (May 31, 2026).

 

Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals entered the playoffs. RCB thrashed GT in the first qualifier on May 26, 2026. In the eliminator, Rajasthan Royals pipped Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 27, 2026. In the the qualifier 2, GT easily won against Rajasthan Royals on May May 29, 2026.

 

Who is playing in the IPL 2026 final?

 

Having beaten Gujarat Titans in the Qualifier 1, Royal Challengers Bengaluru had entered their second straight final. Gujarat Titans, though beaten in the Qualifier 1, defeated Rajasthan Royals to have a face-off against the defending champions. Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted the trophy in 2025 having finished runner-up in 2009, 2011 and 2016.

 

Gujarat Titans made their debut in 2022 in IPL and lifted the trophy. GT finished runner-up in 2023. This is the third time that Gujarat Titans are playing in the finals.

 

Where will the IPL final be held?

 

The IPL final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on Sunday (May 31, 2026).

 

Where to watch?

 

The fans in India can watch the IPL 2026 final live on JioHotstar app. For television broadcasts, the match will be telecast live across the Star Sports Network in multiple languages (English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada).

 

Viewers in the U.S. can watch in Willow.tv or Fubo while Sky Sports or NOW will be broadcasting for the cricket lovers in U.K. Star Sports Network will be telecasting live the IPL 2026 match for viewers in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

 

The viewers cannot watch directly on YouTube as the platform does not hold the official digital streaming rights.
